Accessibility Statement
KANE Footwear is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable by the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability. We believe everyone should be able to access our products, information, and services with as few barriers as possible.
Our Accessibility Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing priority at KANE Footwear. We continually evaluate our website and work to identify and address barriers that may affect people using assistive technologies, keyboards, screen readers, screen magnification, or other accessibility tools.
Our goal is to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA wherever reasonably possible.
Current Accessibility Improvements
KANE Footwear is currently transitioning to a new accessibility support provider and conducting a comprehensive audit of our website.
As part of this transition, we are removing our previous accessibility overlay and prioritizing improvements directly within the website’s underlying code. This approach is intended to address accessibility issues at their source and provide a more consistent experience for customers using assistive technologies.
Our current work includes reviewing and remediating areas such as site navigation, keyboard accessibility, screen-reader compatibility, forms and interactive elements, images and alternative text, focus states, labels, headings, and other components throughout the shopping experience.
We expect to complete our initial audit and remediation pass by October 9, 2026. Accessibility is an ongoing process, however, and we will continue testing, monitoring, and improving the website as new content, functionality, applications, and features are introduced.
As part of our ongoing accessibility program, KANE Footwear is committed to monthly accessibility reviews with our accessibility partner. These reviews include automated code analysis, visual accessibility testing, and AI-assisted screen-reader testing designed to help identify potential barriers and issues introduced through ongoing website changes. Identified issues are reviewed and prioritized for remediation directly within the website’s underlying code.
Need Assistance or Found an Accessibility Issue?
Despite our efforts, there may be areas of the website that are not yet fully accessible. If you are having difficulty viewing or navigating our website, completing a purchase, accessing information, or using any feature or functionality, we want to hear from you.
Please contact our team at support@kanefootwear.com with “Accessibility Assistance” in the subject line and, if possible, include a description of the page, feature, or issue you encountered.
We take accessibility feedback seriously and will make reasonable efforts to address reported issues and provide the information, product details, or assistance you need through an alternative method when necessary.
Third-Party Content and Services
Some areas of our website may include content, applications, or functionality provided by third-party vendors. While KANE Footwear does not control the accessibility of all third-party services, we encourage our partners and vendors to provide accessible and user-friendly experiences and consider accessibility when evaluating and implementing third-party technology.
