Early Days. . . . . . .
I suffered a plantar faciitis episode recently and started on the usual regimin of reduced activity (rest), anitinflammatories, ice as necessary and heat later on, not to mention stretching exercises including with prostretch device. My son-in-law recommended I try a "recovery" shoe: Kane.
So,I ordered a pair and tried them on. For the first few days I wore them for short periods and I wasn't sure about them. But, as my "recovery" regime moved along, I noticed that they were indeed a great asset toward healing of the plantar faciitis. They are NOT a magic bullet, but with proper treatment they can be a great adjunct.
I only gave 4 stars at this time, since I have yet to use them with a "normal" foot. I suspect,If given the opportunity,I would later change them to a 5 star rating.
Good shoes, still unsure if they are worth the price.
These shoes are great! I love wearing them around the house and at the lake. They also work great in the water and dry quickly.
When I got them, I also looked at similar shoes like Crocs. I am not sure that they are significantly better than the crocs to justify the price difference. The material feels exactly the same. The biggest difference I noticed, which I do appreciate, is the improved design that does not feel like it could easily fall off. It feels like wearing untied sneakers, other than the material.
The area in which I appreciate the shoes the most is in the ventilation. They help my feet dry after a sweaty run or ruck. They have definitely contributed to healing my feet, as I now have a show with good ventilation to wear for leisure.
So far, so good.
I only dock a star because although they are light, they are kind of bulky. I’d also like to be able to wear them without socks - - but I cannot. I think they are too big and will rub my heel, but I am not sure a smaller size would fit with socks. I may try it next time.
That said - they feel good. I have achilles tendonitis and these provide comfort and my joints feel better. I also love that I can hose them down when dirty. Overall - I am happy with my purchase!
1/2 size
Wearing a 10. 5 I didn’t know if I should get an 11 or 10. Went to Dicks to try on both sizes. The 11 felt good but slip off my heel when walking. The 10 was tight but didn’t slip. I went online and bought a size 10. It is tight and feels ok for awhile but eventually my instep starts to feel sore. I have shoe stretchers in them now and that seems to help a little. Hope they become more comfortable in that I really like the shoes.
Great for flat feet
I bought Kanes because I work on my feet all day. I get pain in my heals, ankles, and the ball of my feet due to flat feet. My brother recommended Kanes so I gave them a shot. They have helped my feet pain a lot more than my custom orthotics and I get compliments all the time. The only thing I don’t like is they are whole sizes and if I go down a size I fear they will be too small for my feet.
Not as expected
These are replacing a worn pair of shoes similar to Crocs. I bought into the idea of the sugar cane. . .
I was expecting it to be softer, more malleable.
I swear a 10. 5 and these fit my foot sole perfect but the part of the shoe around the top of the foot is a close. . . i worry about rubbing. This material doesn't seem to give soooo. . .
I was hoping to use these as walking shoes .
No complaints. . . at all!
I left a similar review for my OB's, but I think it's just as important here. . .
I like to preface this by saying that Kanes, in general, came to me at a very important time. I’ve dealt with countless lower-body issues and injuries over the years, including ankle sprains, problems with the balls of my feet, plantar fasciitis, broken bones in my feet and legs, and, most recently, a toe sprain.
Being very active into my 40s, my body simply has more demands now and doesn’t bounce back as quickly as I’d like. Kanes offer something that’s extremely functional and supportive—and the fact that they actually look good is honestly a bonus.
I wear these everywhere. With socks. . . without socks, really anywhere I would wear a pair of sneakers/Berks. My feet and legs aren’t nearly as tired at the end of the day, and I’ve noticed fewer of those everyday aches and pains—something I think just about anyone my age would gladly take. Not to mention I get a lot of looks and compliments (even from the sales associates a my local running shop!).
If you haven’t tried these, or any of the other Kane styles (I’m up to four pairs now), you really should. They may not work for everyone, but if they work for you the way they’ve worked for me, you won’t regret it.
Great shoe for neuropathy and plantar fascitis!
Unfortunately, I suffer from neuropathy due to side effects from cancer treatment. I've lost a lot of feeling in my feet and have plantar fascitis, so walking barefoot on hard surfaces is uncomfortable. That's where Kanes comes in!
I typically wear a shoe size 10. 5 wide, so I went with size 11. I only wear them inside the house.
The Revives are a little loose when wearing them barefoot but are very comfortable when wearing them with socks. They tend to "squeak" when I wear them without socks since the bottoms of my feet get sweaty. The pull tab is aesthetically cool, but it doesn't really help when I try to put on the shoe.
The Kanes have really improved my quality of life and I can walk around the house comfortably. I'm more confident going up and down the stairs since they provide great cushion and grip on hard surfaces, and I don't have to worry about them falling off like slides. Since I have neuropathy, I don't really feel the raised bumps on the insole, but it's not a big deal. They look cool and perform well.
Game changer
I bought these for my dad, and he's just getting used to them. He's in his seventies and has a lot of foot pain/discomfort from Plantar fasciitis. I was gifted a pair from my husband over Christmas for the same foot issues and have found these to be a game changer for me. I work from home and have two small kids. My foot pain can be managed with me being active and doing certain exercises/therapies but I cannot find time for those lately. I needed shoes for around the house that were comfortable and supportive. I've tried crocs and those are great (slides and flip flops) but they would make me trip in the house.
I have no more pain and these are comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend. The only downside is now that it's warm my feet sweat a bit. But totally worth it and I can wear socks if needed.
Much More Than Just a Recovery Shoe
We are a lacrosse family and know all about Kanes. My older son loves his special edition Maverick pair so when we needed water shoes for a recent trip to Xcarat Mexico, we looked no further than Kanes. Everyone in the family got a pair for vacation. They were perfect for walking around Tulum and the ecological parks (going from land to water and back to land). They are super comfortable and rinse clean, just like new. My boys also wore them with khakis and a polo to go to dinner at night. Very versatile and so much more than just a recovery shoe!! Living in PA, we will definitely be getting the all weather ones once colder weather hits! Highly recommend!!

Recovery Shoes That Actually Work!
I picked up three pairs so I could wear them in different situations and see how they held up. I’m on my feet a lot working in the oil field and fire department, these have been great for wearing after work to give my feet a break. They’re lightweight, breathable, and surprisingly comfortable. I like that they’re easy to rinse off after getting dirty, and they’ve become my go-to recovery shoes after long shifts. The fit was true to size, and after trying all three pairs, I’d definitely buy them again. If you’re looking for a comfortable recovery shoe that’s durable and easy to wear every day, I’d recommend giving Kane a try.
Comfy, Quirky, Awesome
These shoes are basically comfort with a personality! 😎 The cushioning feels ridiculously good, making them perfect for walking, running errands, or just kicking back. They’re lightweight, easy to slip on, and the roomy design keeps your feet feeling happy all day.
And let’s talk about the look—the white upper with that navy, red-speckled sole definitely stands out. They’re fun without trying too hard, and I’ve already gotten a few compliments.
Bottom line: Super comfortable, surprisingly stylish, and way more fun than your average pair of slip-ons. If your feet could give reviews, these would get 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Revived!
I don't usually rave about shoes, but the **Kane Revive** absolutely deserves it.
From the moment I slipped them on, I understood the hype. They're ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, and somehow provide support without feeling bulky. Whether I'm on my feet all day at work, running errands, or just giving my feet a break after a long day, these have become my go-to.
If you're looking for a recovery shoe that actually feels like it's helping your feet instead of just looking trendy, the Kane Revive is worth every penny.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.
Unbelievable!
I knew about Kane for several months before I decided to try them out. I thought it was just another ad from an “influencer” if I’m being honest! But after an intense month of a walking challenge at work, I felt like my feet weren’t feeling my best and none of my shoes brought me relief! I decided to bite the bullet and I wish I had bought them sooner!! They are so comfortable, I don’t take them off! I wear them to work and don’t have any discomfort in my 8 hour nursing shift. I wear them home and wear them to the gym! Such a good purchase!!
Highly Recommend!
Some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had at such an affordable price for
Today’s market. Would recommend to anyone who spends time on their feet. I am a much larger former athlete trying to get back in shape and my weight can cause discomfort after training sessions or even spending a lot of time coaching on the sidelines. These have already been a game changer and will be a daily shoe for years to come. Already picking out the next few pairs to get in different color ways and models for year round use.
Gift for my son.
My son and I wear size 15 shoes. Crocks are nice but not supportive. We gifted him a set based on my own experience. I asked him for his feedback and he shared. "Dad, I don't do reviews, that's just corporate trying to engage you", "They don't care how they are, they just want your next sale", "Tell them I can jump 2' higher, and run a mile in 3;45" So my take away is love your children but don't ask questions, (FYI, he wears them everyday, and he is really a 85 year old man in a 42 year old body.
Super easy and efficient exchange process
I have sized up because I am a half size 8. 5. Turns out because of the lower heel I needed to size down to 8 and they’re still slightly loose but in a good way.
On the day when I shipped them back I got a gift card to my account so I could order right away. You only pay a processing fee if you refund to the card. Overall super positive experience! Fast shipping too. I have returned my shoes on Thursday and got my new pair on Wednesday.
Shoes are very cute and comfy!
