Early Days. . . . . . .
I suffered a plantar faciitis episode recently and started on the usual regimin of reduced activity (rest), anitinflammatories, ice as necessary and heat later on, not to mention stretching exercises including with prostretch device. My son-in-law recommended I try a "recovery" shoe: Kane.
So,I ordered a pair and tried them on. For the first few days I wore them for short periods and I wasn't sure about them. But, as my "recovery" regime moved along, I noticed that they were indeed a great asset toward healing of the plantar faciitis. They are NOT a magic bullet, but with proper treatment they can be a great adjunct.
I only gave 4 stars at this time, since I have yet to use them with a "normal" foot. I suspect,If given the opportunity,I would later change them to a 5 star rating.
So far, so good.
I only dock a star because although they are light, they are kind of bulky. I’d also like to be able to wear them without socks - - but I cannot. I think they are too big and will rub my heel, but I am not sure a smaller size would fit with socks. I may try it next time.
That said - they feel good. I have achilles tendonitis and these provide comfort and my joints feel better. I also love that I can hose them down when dirty. Overall - I am happy with my purchase!
1/2 size
Wearing a 10. 5 I didn’t know if I should get an 11 or 10. Went to Dicks to try on both sizes. The 11 felt good but slip off my heel when walking. The 10 was tight but didn’t slip. I went online and bought a size 10. It is tight and feels ok for awhile but eventually my instep starts to feel sore. I have shoe stretchers in them now and that seems to help a little. Hope they become more comfortable in that I really like the shoes.
Great for flat feet
I bought Kanes because I work on my feet all day. I get pain in my heals, ankles, and the ball of my feet due to flat feet. My brother recommended Kanes so I gave them a shot. They have helped my feet pain a lot more than my custom orthotics and I get compliments all the time. The only thing I don’t like is they are whole sizes and if I go down a size I fear they will be too small for my feet.
Not as expected
These are replacing a worn pair of shoes similar to Crocs. I bought into the idea of the sugar cane. . .
I was expecting it to be softer, more malleable.
I swear a 10. 5 and these fit my foot sole perfect but the part of the shoe around the top of the foot is a close. . . i worry about rubbing. This material doesn't seem to give soooo. . .
I was hoping to use these as walking shoes .
First pair of kanes
The shoes look nice and I could see where they would be be beneficial for recovery.
I should haven’t gotten one size larger but these said they fit true to size.
My biggest complaint is that the return policy is a bit laborious and not free. I get it, but it’s so common place these days to have free shipping and returns this seems dated.
No complaints. . . at all!
I left a similar review for my OB's, but I think it's just as important here. . .
I like to preface this by saying that Kanes, in general, came to me at a very important time. I’ve dealt with countless lower-body issues and injuries over the years, including ankle sprains, problems with the balls of my feet, plantar fasciitis, broken bones in my feet and legs, and, most recently, a toe sprain.
Being very active into my 40s, my body simply has more demands now and doesn’t bounce back as quickly as I’d like. Kanes offer something that’s extremely functional and supportive—and the fact that they actually look good is honestly a bonus.
I wear these everywhere. With socks. . . without socks, really anywhere I would wear a pair of sneakers/Berks. My feet and legs aren’t nearly as tired at the end of the day, and I’ve noticed fewer of those everyday aches and pains—something I think just about anyone my age would gladly take. Not to mention I get a lot of looks and compliments (even from the sales associates a my local running shop!).
If you haven’t tried these, or any of the other Kane styles (I’m up to four pairs now), you really should. They may not work for everyone, but if they work for you the way they’ve worked for me, you won’t regret it.
The BEST shoe!
My fiance bought a pair for himself after trying several different shoes, soles, styles, etc. . and he has not had any foot pain since!
I trusted him and bought a pair for myself. I wore them ALL day to an amusement park and not once did my back ache 😳 I couldn’t believe it! It was also nice to simply remove my socks and go on a water ride without having to worry my feet will be wet until I take them off.
My 5 year old has 3 pair (he loves the colors) and is a runner. The soles are holding up very well.
Very easy to clean. I used soap and water and the dirt comes off like “easy peasy” is what my son says.
We are forever a Kane family and we found our ‘perfect’ shoe!
Comfy, Quirky, Awesome
These shoes are basically comfort with a personality! 😎 The cushioning feels ridiculously good, making them perfect for walking, running errands, or just kicking back. They’re lightweight, easy to slip on, and the roomy design keeps your feet feeling happy all day.
And let’s talk about the look—the white upper with that navy, red-speckled sole definitely stands out. They’re fun without trying too hard, and I’ve already gotten a few compliments.
Bottom line: Super comfortable, surprisingly stylish, and way more fun than your average pair of slip-ons. If your feet could give reviews, these would get 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Revived!
I don't usually rave about shoes, but the **Kane Revive** absolutely deserves it.
From the moment I slipped them on, I understood the hype. They're ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, and somehow provide support without feeling bulky. Whether I'm on my feet all day at work, running errands, or just giving my feet a break after a long day, these have become my go-to.
If you're looking for a recovery shoe that actually feels like it's helping your feet instead of just looking trendy, the Kane Revive is worth every penny.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.
Comically crave worthy & impressive
I beat the hell out of my feet, so I figured "recovery shoes" were just influencer bait. You know, the same tier of nonsense as a kid with a rented supercar explaining wealth creation between TikToks.
An elite athlete friend tossed me a pair after a beach day. I laughed. . . then wore them. Bought a pair. Then two more.
Fair warning: don't buy them unless you're okay with every other shoe in your closet suddenly feeling like medieval punishment. Human feet are surprisingly petty once they've experienced comfort.

Some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had at such an affordable price for
Today’s market. Would recommend to anyone who spends time on their feet. I am a much larger former athlete trying to get back in shape and my weight can cause discomfort after training sessions or even spending a lot of time coaching on the sidelines. These have already been a game changer and will be a daily shoe for years to come. Already picking out the next few pairs to get in different color ways and models for year round use.

Gift for my son.
My son and I wear size 15 shoes. Crocks are nice but not supportive. We gifted him a set based on my own experience. I asked him for his feedback and he shared. "Dad, I don't do reviews, that's just corporate trying to engage you", "They don't care how they are, they just want your next sale", "Tell them I can jump 2' higher, and run a mile in 3;45" So my take away is love your children but don't ask questions, (FYI, he wears them everyday, and he is really a 85 year old man in a 42 year old body.
Recovery at its best!!
I was skeptical at first with the claims of a recovery shoe. I am a U. S. Army Veteran with lower leg injuries and these shoes have been a god send the last 6 months. They help with everyday walking and actually helps manage the pain to a more manageable level. If I would have had these after PT, might be in a different situation. They also give a military discount. I have bought 4 pair and plan to buy more. If you have a wide foot like me go up one size and you should have no problems.
“Kane Has My Back!” literally
I just want to say a huge thank you to the Kane team! Your shoes have helped me through recovery from back surgery—not just once, but twice. They are incredibly comfortable, supportive, and waterproof, and I honestly love everything about them.
I really appreciate the quality and thought that goes into your products. Thank you for making something that has genuinely made a difference in my recovery. Keep producing great products—I’ll continue to be a huge fan of Kane!
3 Year Review
They are awesome. Because of my Kanes my friends and family have bought 5+ pairs after wearing mine. Recently I lost the left shoe in a lake that I frequent. I found it 2 days ago and besides being obviously very dirty from mud they were still in perfect condition after I washed them off. I have abused mine and wear them in lakes, the ocean, the woods, and everywhere in between. They are exactly what you would want in a water shoe.
