Run small
The shoes are good, solid and as the picture and description says. However they run small. I used the size chart provided and even gave a little more on the inches before predicting my sons size and they were still too small . We will need to send them back. I actually purchased two pairs for both of my sons and both were too small. I ended up giving the larger pair to my younger son and will return the small pair and replace them hopefully so my older son has a pair.
Kane’s slip on
I LOVE my all weather kanes and my original kanes so I thought it would only be right to buy the new slip ons. I don’t love them. They are built slightly more narrow than the others for some reason and that doesn’t help with splay or comfort. So I’ll likely return and get another pair of the OG
Compared to the normal Kane
Compared to the normal Kane shoe, which I wear on a day-to-day basis, the OB was different in the fact that it was easy to slide on, however, not nearly as comfortable and supportive. Probably would not order another pair as I find the normal backed shoe for superior. I do love my Kane shoes!
Kane Revive OB “Electric Orange “
I recently purchased a pair of the kane revive OB in the electric orange color way. They are very good for around the house and as a bedside shoe after workouts going home, I would highly recommend they are easy to walk in, and I love the bright color.
Open Back kanes
Purchased a pair and they are very comfy. They run a lil big and no half sizes only drawback, as the 12’s a touch big. 11 would be too tight. I’m very active , have neuropathy in my feet, so was eager to see if it helps. They are very comfortable
Good purchase, happy with shoe
My husband’s only complaint is the coloring with the speckles. He doesn’t feel “manly” with speckles so he doesn’t love how every single sole has speckles (literally no options with plain soles). Otherwise he does love the shoes!
Revive OB vs Revive Review
I am a huge fan having discovered Kanes when I saw them on another lifeguard. People have asked me about them as I did him! Much more a sneaker vibe and feel than the Croc loose fit. This is a review for both which I will post under both shoes.
The Kane closed back Revive “shoe” fits perfectly. I am a 10. 5 in Nike and Hoka but have a narrower foot - but need plenty of toe room. Following the website advice on fit I went to a 10 - spot on both with no-show running socks (for comfort) and barefoot. I wear these around the house and while lifeguarding. One note - while showering they do NOT drain at the bottom or lower sides so you have to lift your heel for any residual water to drain thru the ample holes above the thick sole. Good support (better than crocs) and you can feel a slight arch bump under my relatively flat feet.
I then saw the Revive Open Back slides (the Revive OB) and thought they would be even better for the pool/beach etc. I bought the exact same size (10) and my observation is that they drain better having no back (with the same thickness sole and holes on the side as the closed back). But - in that they have no back they feel more loose - almost too big in length which makes me wonder if I should have gone with a 9 for this model. Yes I can kick them off more quickly, but my foot feels sloppy in them if that makes sense. Probably better with a sock (ie for recovery which is what they are for) than a walking around slide, but my intent was to wear them bar
Old guy finds relief
So I went on a cruise lots of cobblestone streets. By the time I got home my first stop was the Emergency room. I couldn't bear weight on my left foot. I have a high pain tolerance but it felt broken. It took awhile but eventually it was found that there is a nerve that runs from yor ankle to your big toe. On top of your foot This was what was making me hobble around using a cane and in a great deal of pain. During this period I was talking with a neighbor and he told me his granddaughter was a college runner and she had told him about your shoes. He had a pair and they helped him. So I was definitely interested. The bumps underfoot made a huge differance. I have bought 4 pairs for myself and 2 more for people I care about. They relax my feet and I have enhanced feeling and dexterity in my feet. I wear your product from the moment I get up until I lay down at night. Great product that actually enhanced my health. Thank You . David Kinsey
Revive OB
I’ve been wearing the KANE Revive OB shoes, and they’ve quickly become my go-to recovery shoes. They’re incredibly easy to slip on, lightweight, and surprisingly supportive. The arch support is excellent, and after long days on my feet or after a workout, they make my feet feel noticeably less tired.
I also love that they’re waterproof and easy to clean, so I don’t have to worry about wearing them almost anywhere. They feel more supportive than regular slides and have a secure fit without feeling bulky.
The only thing I’d mention is that they feel a little firm at first, but after wearing them a few times, they became much more comfortable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a comfortable recovery shoe that’s stylish, durable, and worth the investment.
Pending Back Surgery but then I found Kanes
I have now recommended these shoes in all forms to so many of my coworkers in the medical field. I have severe disc herniations and my job requires constantly being on my feet. This last flare up I had made surgery sooner than I thought. Kane is the only reason I can push that pending surgery back because of the relief they have given me.
I can probably blame myself for the Limited Edition color I wanted being sold out before I could snag them because I tell so many people about them.
Please make more of the white/ strawberry speckle size 7!!!!!!
I am looking to purchase my 3rd pair in 2 months !!!!
Thank you Kane for making my recovery possible.
Annndddd if you are thinking about buying them, DO IT !
Recovery Shoes - watch return policy
Great for sports. hospital workers, teachers- anyone on their feet for long periods of time.
My son wears 10. 5- ordered size 11 open back- too big- returned for size 10- perfect fit.
Just not a fan of return policy- either credit or $10 return fee- WHAT????
Beware of ONWARD checkout fee- you can opt out.
Overall, great shoe but unnecessary "hidden" costs.
Great job with pricing- affordable shoe that doesn't deter customers.
Plan to use my return credit for another pair- would've preferred full refund.
Also - keep the box - you have to return in undamaged, original box.
Definitely offers relief and support for all.
Slip on Kanes
Love love love ! I’m 68 and love a slip on . I also love I can wear these and feel confident I’m not going to fall . The other slip ons I use to wear were a hazard especially walking on a damp concrete floor . After my 3rd fall I donated . I was worried about these but they are AWESOME and washable when the grass gets stuck on them ! I now have 3 pairs and am trying to behave and wait for Fall. Just bought my 9 year granddaughter a pair for her birthday!! She was so excited as her parents are addicted to . Love putting on after I workout at gym let’s my feet cool off and be happy
Amazing footwear
I have some foot pain and since I bought my 1st pair of Kane's my foot pain is gone. They are truly amazing. I got 2 pair for Christmas, 1 waterproof pair and the Stars and Stripes, 2 days later I ordered another pair to wear solely in the house. I no longer wear leather moccasins, I wear my revive Kane’s. We just ordered 2 more pairs, the white and pink open back and the 50 anniversary pair. Two of my coworkers also ordered 2 pairs each after listening to my praise for this footwear.
Thank you Kane!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These are hands down some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They're incredibly lightweight, have great cushioning, and are perfect for wearing after a long day on your feet. I bought them primarily as recovery shoes, and they've exceeded my expectations. They're easy to slip on, breathe well, and have quickly become my go-to footwear around the house, running errands, and after being on the boat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort without sacrificing support.
Non athlete review
My athletic days are over, but not my honey do lists, or working 12hr shifts running on hospital floors, being 100lbs overweight doesn't help either however I've been wearing the kanes since I got them and so far I'd have to say they are impressive. I've been wearing crocs and hokas for many years and so far I think the kanes are really comfortable not as spongy as the crocs and hokas but cushioned enough for a fat old part to spend 14hrs in without limping home at the end of the day
Very very comfortable.
These Kane shoes are amazing. I’ve had surgery on my left foot and the Kanes were the only shoe that didn’t cause pain. The open back are amazing for the summer for the beach and walking the dogs. Basically replaced my slides and the shoes are my go to for almost everyday activities. I have the winter ones also they are great, wish they were same material as the summer just no holes. Other then that I have 6 pairs and getting more. Simply amazing pair of shoes for any occasion
Best Shoes Ever
Just picked up the OB version and they’re been used everyday since. I currently own 9 pairs of Kanes, my son has 4 and family members of mine each have 5+ pairs. Hands down the best thing I’ve purchased. Whether using after. Workout or wearing them out socially or using a water shoes in pool, these have become a staple item in my bag. Loving the new compress that continue to come out and opt to wear these over shoes or sneakers in my every day activities.
Amazing product
These Half-Croc Beasts Are Straight-Up Kick-Ass
I’ve been a fan of Kane Footwear for a while, but these new Revive - Stars & Stripes pairs just raised the bar. Totally kick-ass. Super comfortable right out of the box, the colors pop, and that half-croc look mixed with the cushion is an absolute winner.
Whoever at the company decided this design was a good idea deserves a serious bonus. I’ll definitely be ordering more pairs.
