Revive AC - Ash

I love my regular Kanes, I've owned 5 pairs since learning about the brand three years ago. I am a runner but deal with sporadic inflammation issues with my feet, so Kanes have become my go-to for ease and comfort - even in the rain. When I saw the waterproof ACs release, I knew I had to try them out. My main critique is its stiffness, which I think has been mentioned by other reviewers. There is zero flex, or at least not the amount I've come to expect and love from my regular Kanes. This makes the natural footfall feel clunky, and when I'm dealing with my inflammation, the ACs become downright unusable. I want these to be 5-stars, and will be if the flexion on the midfoot area improves to the standard of the non-ACs. Otherwise, colorway is so so good - which is another area I wish Kane would improve on as a whole - but this one nailed it.

Here’s a balanced review you could post: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars) I really wanted to love these shoes because the comfort is outstanding. They fit well, provide great support, and feel comfortable enough to wear all day. I have medium-wide feet and still have plenty of room in them, which is a huge plus. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that my feet start sweating within about 30 minutes to an hour of wearing them. I’ve tried both thin athletic socks and thicker socks, but the result is the same. The shoes seem to trap heat and moisture more than any other pair I’ve owned. If comfort is your top priority, these shoes definitely deliver. However, if you tend to have warm feet or are looking for something highly breathable, this is something to keep in mind. Great comfort, but the lack of ventilation keeps me from giving a higher rating.

I really like the design of this recovery shoe compared to other designs out in the market today. The outsole grip is very usefull especially when you walk outside with a slight thick of snow. Makes your feet feel warm even in negative temperature weather. But the downside of this shoes is so rediculous. It is very tight especially in the middle part of the insole. And even if you size up or down, it feels too narrow inside. Not good people with people who has wide feet sizes. And also, you will feel sweaty on your feet while you were wearing this all day. So i adviced that you need to wear very thin pair of socks because the insole of the shoe is alreasy too narrow to fit. Overall, i really love there Kane Revive shoes model, not this one. Not worth the price for buying this Revive AC

Good arch support the back of the shoe gets caught on the stairs, walking up and down the sides are pushing against piggy toe, causing pain. There is pain on the back outside of my heel where it rubs against the shoe if those concerns could be fixed, it would give this you a five star rating I would return but being that I have warned them the return policy states so I can’t return them, but in order to know if they actually work or not, I would have to wear them so I don’t feel that’s acceptable unless issues are fixed. I will not be buying another Pair

The shoes look great and feel very well constructed. They are a little heavier than I expected, but overall they feel solid and durable. The width is great for my wide feet, which is usually difficult for me to find. However, they feel a little tight across the top of my foot, especially around the toe joint. After wearing them for a full shift, that pressure can become pretty uncomfortable and even a little painful. I’m hoping they just need some time to break in because otherwise I really like the look, width, and overall quality of the shoes.

First, I have a pair of regular Kanes. I find them really good especially on slippery surfaces like a pool deck (I’m a swim coach). So, I thought that the Revive ACs would be good particularly in the winter here in the northeast. And, they are. However, they do take some time and patience to get on because the top is so tight. I’m hoping they will loosen up a little so it doesn’t take so long to put them on. The quality is good and once I get them on, they perform as I had hoped. Its just hard to get them on.

I own a barbershop, and bought these shoes for the purpose of having some shop shoes. I've been wearing vans for the last 10 years of cutting & knew my feet had a tole taken on them. So I needed to switch it up & kept seeing Kanes ads pop up on social media after they came out with the weatherized version. I figured they'd be perfect for keeping hair out from my feet, or getting clumped on the shoes since they looked easy to clean off. And they have done both of those things well. They are much much more comfortable than vans, and I feel better after standing for 10+ hrs a day in them. I do feel a little misled from the content creators that were advertising the shoes as this max level comfort, but I think I just had my expectations too high. They feel almost identical to crocs. Which is still a great thing. But they serve the purpose i need them for and they work at it. If you're a barber this is a great shoe to have.

I've been a patient who has been for the last 5 Years in process of having a liver transplant. Every time I went to a doctor's office I saw the practically the whole staff wearing clogs and I was always asking them are they really that comfortable Recently less of the month ago 5 days after having a liver transplant. I and my Fiance, asked a doctor of my transplant team who came in to asses my health with the best looking clogs ive seen, about theirs and how did they feel and who made them. From the information told to me I decided to get a pair after wearing them 5 days out of surgery they were so comfortable love the look. I bought a second pair and bought my fiance now my wife two pair one for work and one for lounging around doing every day things she loves them. love the options love the fit love the comfort if you're looking for some clogs hi really suggest looking into canes you won't regret it

I have worn Kane’s from their first days on kickstarter. I had mixed feelings about them when they first came out. My feet don’t sweat in shoes and in crocs but my feet sweat in the Kane’s and I got blisters on my foot around the cuff. Fast forward a bunch of years and I thought I try them again and I was presently surprised how great my feet felt in them. So I thought I would try out the Kane AC’s. I read reviews and was a little skeptical, but boy was I wrong. I wear them everywhere and a lot more than my revives. They are warm, have great traction, and my foot never gets wet. I wore them all day in the big storm shoveling and snow blowing. Not a problem. I do feel that they get very warm, to the point that my feet sweat. Also it all depends on the socks you wear. I feel that it can get tight on top of the shoe around the cuff if you wear the wrong socks.

I just discovered Kane shoes and all that they do to help support you and your feet. I was skeptical when I first tried them because they were pretty stiff and the texture on the inside made my feet feel weird. After a couple times of wearing them, I now have decided I need a pair in every color. They are slip ons which is so convenient when taking your shoes off and putting them back on. They still have great support even though you don’t have to tie them and I feel that I can actually walk longer with less foot cramping and pain through my arch because of the textured bottom. I am a small business owner for pet services and am always on my feet, walking dog, checking on cats, and even going on hikes so these shoes are amazing for my lifestyle as well!

I wear atras to run and pretty minimal shoes to walk around in. These shoes just didn't fit for me. When I upsized the arch support sat at the ball of my foot. When I downsized the arch felt right but was too tight on the dorsum of my foot. Socks or no socks it felt the same. Customer service was great on my returns. I just printed out the label and took it to my local ups store both times. They looked great. I was hoping to wear them for fishing and the beach etc. I was really hoping to like them. Same thing happened to my wife. I hear the original Kanes fit a lot better but I haven't tried. But overall, great experience with the company. 10$ for shipping/restocking fee seems really fair.

Spring in your cushioned step and stability underfoot. For me the clincher is the stretch inner “sock” that grips the ankle. Some recovery shoes feel great under the foot, but the company misses the closer around the ankle, leaving it as rigid/not too rigid part of the shoe exoskeleton which for my foot structure can lean uncomfortably into my skin. This Kane version solved that and it’s the principle reason I chose this model. Very happy with this version. We have casual Friday at my clinic and I have worn these with jeans the last two Fridays and my feet love taking an 8 hour head start on feet recovery. Love their look in gravel color, happy with good looking dad shoes.

I love everything about every pair of Kane's that I own. I have 12 pairs and its hard putting any other shoes on my feet after wearing the Kane's. I suffer from Neuropathy since finishing my chemo. My oncologist along with myself have eliminated the neuropathy medicine that I was on and instead I wear the Kane's 3 out of the 5 days of teaching Phys. Ed at a middle school. I am a true believer of these amazing shoes I have turned my boyfriend on to Kane's also. Thank you for an amazing product at such a fair price. Beth from Massillon Ohio

I am on my feet all day in composite toe boots, for my job. I started wearing these shoes before my shift and after my shift, and my body especially my legs, are very happy. Will probably buy another pair at some point. Although they do have the cuff on the top of the shoe, it keeps my feet comfortable. I can wear these all day, if I could especially at work. Solid shoe. I have the original ones as well; I don't wear them outside though. The fit is different on both, but they still do what they are supposed to do.

Been a Kane fein since 2020. I remember when they were only like at 10k followers, it’s so crazy to see how far they have came over the years and still continue to keep growing, I have about 11 pairs and they’re still going strong! Just recently purchased the all condition style and holy wow I want all colors now haha I love them. I work in the healthcare field and I get compliments all the time. Also the fact that these are closed off so no fluids can get in is genius !!!!! Thanks Kane team keep grinding

Having lived in my regular Kane revive shoes for the summer, I really wanted to try the revive AC. Turns out it was just in time for torrential rain and I've worn them both morning and at night walking my dog and my feet are totally dry. I love the support that they provide my feet early in the morning and after a fairly long day. I can't say enough good things about this shoe both in terms of its quality and its comfort. As far as I'm concerned, they are a must-have. The bark color is great.

I can’t say enough how much these shoes made my life so much better. I stand on my feet all day 8-12 hr daily. Before Kanes few years ago. I couldn’t do anything after work. From so much pain in my feet. After purchasing my first pair and wearing them for few months,I couldn’t believe how much better my feet felt and I purchased 4 more pairs. I actually don’t wear a single pair of shoes except Kanes . I know lot of you will feel the same,once you put Kanes on your feet.

I love Kane athletic recovery shoes not just for after the pool but for on my way too. I hate putting socks on semi-wet feet and these shoes were such a game changer. So I bought the winter ones to keep my feet warm in the New England weather. I do water aerobics 3-5 times per week and now own 3 pairs of Kane shoes and wear one pair in the pool for my class others ask what kind of shoes I’m wearing and some have also gotten a pair. Can’t say enough about Kane!
